Tami Vang

Tami Vang is a National and International reciprocated Addiction Counselor (CRADC) and Medicated Assisted Recovery Specialist (MARS) with 20 years of experience working in the mental/behavioral/SUDs health, case management, and social work field. Tami specializes in addiction medicine, psychopharmacology, and social work. In 2016, Tami earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and in 2022 she completed her CRADC and MARS. Tami is a clinical supervisor for the Missouri Credentialing Board where she has been influential in providing education and clinical supervision for over 20 credentials. In 2023, Tami made the leap to increase her education by enrolling and beginning a Master of Social Work program at Capella University. Tami is an active member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and The National Society of Leadership and Success. Tami has led the charge in educating clients, professionals, and the community about Addiction Science (specifically substance use disorder) and spearheading the operational aspects of several non-profit agencies. Tami is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. She is often called upon for consultation due to her ability to marry lived experience and evidence-based practice. Tami is motivated daily by her family and close friends. In her free time, Tami enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and engaging with the community.
